Riding and Training background.
"The truth and the reality of all that is dressage lies in the basics. Each horse-and-rider combination may have a slightly different understanding of what "basics" means, but in general it's about a connection that works and is understood by both horse and rider, proper interpretation of half-halts for speed and balance control along with the rider's ability to displace her horse laterally and control his neck." Yvonne Barteau
Wherever you are on your riding journey, another set of eyes provide a fresh prospective and can help to clear the path towards your goals. Give WFD&E a call to schedule your lesson.
This is a trailer in lesson on your horse. The lesson is about an hour. Lessons on WFD&E horses are limited as most of our horses have other full-time jobs. Lessons on WFD&E horses $55.
Lessons more than 25 miles away will be $75
There is a travel charge if lessons more than 25 miles away.
Whether starting youngsters under saddle or working through an ingrained issue with your equine partner at WFD&E we can develop and implement a training plan for your horse.
Training is $900 a month for the first month. The first month is usually the most time intensive training. After the first month the training fee would drop down to $800 a month as we get to know your horse and have a better understanding of his training needs.
If you choose to board at WFD&E, you will also receive four lessons a month. This is a more economic package whether you should want to board on a regular basis or just bring your horse for a month.
Do you want to have someone start your young horse and take it out into the world (whether you trail-ride, event or dressage)? With a long term contract, the price goes down!

Dora has done so much in her life, hard to list it all! She evented to Training level then suffered an injury that required time off. She came back and learned to drive. My interests turned to dressage and Dora at the age of 13 started competing Recognized dressage through 3rd level. Now at 17 ready to slow down and teach another rider the ropes. Leased
